Bummer. I found it pretty straight forward.
I know its not necessary and it's expensive but is repainting or touching up the paint in future plans? Love the color but it would really pop and stand out with touch up
I've thought of it. The idea of touching it up isn't really compelling. Some day I'll have it totally repainted and done over. That's what it really needs.

May just be how the camera makes it look but do you not use 30 degree flaps on landing ? If not curious why you do not ? Like these videos hope to see the solo soon.
I often use 20 degrees with my students. Haven't found too many pros or cons.

Just getting around to watching this one. My first solo was at Wright-Patterson AFB Oh, on the 'short' rwy 23L (7500'x150' - the long one is 12,600'x300'). I couldn't believe how the aircraft jumped off the ground w/o the 'excess baggage'! Funniest thing was that I could hear my instructor talking to me the entire time. Truly one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Love watching you and your students do this!
